Privacy
Your display preferences stay in your browser.
SaveMyPlace stores your color palette, light or dark theme, and contrast choices on this device so they are remembered on your next visit. Use “Reset display settings” in the footer, or clear this site's browser data, to reset them. These preferences are not synced to your account or other devices.
The display settings work without an account. Theme styles, scripts, and fonts use local resources; no external font service is requested.
Events and reservations
Published event details are public, including the description, schedule, venue, address, any map pin, event type, attire, and number of reserved seats. Event pages show the total reserved seats without listing guest names.
Your reservations are linked to your signed-in account and include the number of seats and reservation status. You can view your reservations and cancel them before the event starts. Signing in uses authentication cookies.
Maps
Events with a map pin display an OpenStreetMap map. Loading that map sends a request from your browser to OpenStreetMap. Map links also open OpenStreetMap, using the event's coordinates or address.
Payments
Paid reservations use 8am AffiniPay. Card numbers and security codes are entered in payment-provider fields and sent directly to the provider. Billing details are used in your browser to request a payment token; they are not included in the checkout form sent to SaveMyPlace.
SaveMyPlace keeps the reservation total, currency, payment references, and payment or refund status so it can confirm your places and handle cancellations. A one-time payment token may be stored briefly in protected form while a submitted payment is verified. SaveMyPlace does not store card numbers or security codes.
Loading checkout makes requests to 8am AffiniPay for its payment fields. The merchant's contact details and refund policy are shown before you pay.
Organizer payment connections
Organizers authorize their own merchant account at AffiniPay. SaveMyPlace stores the chosen account reference, encrypted gateway credentials, and the business contact details and refund policy shown to guests. A short-lived secure browser cookie links authorization to the signed-in organizer. OAuth access tokens are used to obtain account credentials and are not stored.
Disconnecting for new bookings pauses new payments through that connection. Its saved credentials remain available to verify existing payments and process refunds for earlier reservations.
SaveMyPlace is in development. Email confirmation for real account onboarding and merchant payment configuration must be completed before live use.
